Cable Advertising Company is seeking a self-starting, outgoing,and motivated individual to join our team! Sales Account Executive will have the opportunity to attract, develop and maintain Cable advertising clients by selling our on air inventory. The Account Executive will be responsible for creating customized advertising and marketing solutions for local businesses and advertising agencies in accordance with the Company’s sales programs, strategies and policies. Responsible for achieving Company’s sales and marketing objectives, including meeting all financial targets and for recommending strategies based on awareness of local competitive conditions.
Tasks:
• Analyzes, develops and presents market research and advertising
proposals to support client activities and products.
• Developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales as well as manage the local market territory to proactively identify and address key accounts and growth opportunities maximizing revenue.
• Interacts with various internal departments to carry out client
requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitor account activities,
and monitor and manage collections.
• Maintains up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in
development of sales forecasts.
• Completes required documentation and reporting for the proper
processing of contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense
reports.
• Seeks new customers by continuously prospecting following Company’s
planned sales strategies and tactics.Essential Job Functions:
•Maintain customer satisfaction and accountability through consultative selling
•Engage in all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to developing customer rapport, closing business and servicing accounts
•Expand sales footprint with existing and new accounts by introducing new products and services
•Complete appropriate sales activity reports and forecasts as required
•Responsible for meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly and quarterly sales activity with focus on solution based selling and digital product inclusion
•Maintains price and product integrity to ensure maximum company profitability
•Initiate and devise client solutions and proposal ensuing realistic deliverables and profitability
•Meet with key decision makers and develop advertising programs that target client specific needs
•Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers to drive new business as well as protect and increase existing advertising
Writes presentations and proposals that meet clients’ needs and budget
requirements
• Works with sales management in developing business pitches and sales
presentations that support the product value proposition.
• Provides monthly and quarterly marketing reports.Job Requirements
Requirements:
• High School or Equivalent
• Marketing
• Generally requires 1-3 years related experience
• Media/advertising sales experience required.
