Since the California Army National Guard is part of the Army; you still receive military benefits such as: free college, GI Bill, health care plans, dental, life insurance, job training, and veteran status.

Maybe you did not want to move away and give up your San Diego life by joining the active duty military. Many of our jobs translate into high paying civilian jobs. While you are at training you are paid the same as active military.

Our main job fields include: transportation, chemical operations, fuel specialist, and engineering. Come in to see what you can do.

Our maximum age for applicants is 34 years old. Prior service applicants (with a good discharge) fall under a diffrent age rule. Call for details.

We do not take any felonies. No exceptions. No more than one misdemeanor

Must have a high school diploma (No GEDs) or if you have a GED (or no high school diploma or GED) you need at least 15 college credits.

We accept a 50 or above on the ASVAB.

There are no exceptions to the above qualifications.
