Customer service and collections representative (San Ysidro)

The ideal candidate will obtain payment for goods by itemizing and totaling customer’s purchases and monthly payments. Welcomes all walk-ins with a greeting while directing them appropriately; maintains telecommunications system. Provide product pricing, inbound and outbound collections calls. Candidate must have a polished and professional appearance.
Duties:
- Welcomes customers and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Handle in-bound and out-bound customer service and collections calls.
- Itemize and total purchases by recording prices and recalculating discounts where applicable.
- Review customer statements and collect appropriate balances.
- Collects payments by accepting checks.
- Provide product pricing and availability.
- Balances check register at the end of work shift.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which will include Saturdays and Sundays.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (Cashier).
- Maintains safe and clean work station.
- Other miscellaneous administrative duties.Requirements:
College degree in business administration, accounting or any related field. Must read, write and be fluent in Spanish. Good customer service, excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to deal effectively with the public in a congenial pleasant manner. Knowledge of computers and computer software is a must. Candidate must be a dependable, punctual, high energy individual with the ability to handle pressure.
