Summary: Growing e-Commerce Golf Company in North San Diego County seeks an e-Commerce Assistant who is organized and eager to utilize golf equipment knowledge to help with eBay auction listings. Knowledge of the golf industry and golf equipment is required to perform this job. Under direction from management, individual will inspect golf equipment and write accurate detailed product descriptions for auction listings. This position consists of repetitive data entry; attention to detail and accuracy required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Accurately receive golf product, update order spreadsheet in computer
• Create product descriptions to sell on eBay
• Update and maintain accurate listing data in spreadsheet
• As directed, research and provide information on new product and pricing
• Report any discrepancies noticed in listing descriptions to eBay Manager
• Use digital camera to take pictures of product as necessary for listing
• As needed and directed, assist warehouse staff with packing and shipping
Qualifications: Successful candidate will be self motivated, organized and detail oriented with a positive attitude; willing to learn and grow. You must be reliable; able to multi-task and work efficiently with detailed product information. Candidate must be flexible; able to work independent and within a team. Golf knowledge, including golf equipment and accessories, is required. Familiarity with golf apparel desired. In addition, knowledge and use of Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheets, Outlook and Word is required. Prior eBay experience a plus.
Education & Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent GED required. Candidate must have extensive knowledge of the golf industry, golf equipment, and manufacturer specifications. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and sit using a computer for long periods of time.
