We are looking to develop a proof of concept (POC) system that will enable us to obtain funding for a Large-Scale / Web-Based / Social-Media / Big-Data *health killer app*. This application will save lives by providing better quality ongoing health tracking data, as well as statistical data for medical research in Phase II. We have a completed data model for this system and need two Web application modules: (1) symptom tracker – to allow large user community to enter and track their health data, and (2) social media – to share their health data within their selected communities. The focus on both modules’ interface is simplicity. This project has very high potential. We are looking for curious minds and able technologists to become an integral part of our team. We have done research in medical diagnostics that will result in a new era of non-invasive, portable, and inexpensive consumer health diagnostics. While we are not funded yet, we plan on obtaining sufficient funding post-POC to implement a robust and very large Web site that will change the face of American and world-wide health care. Any of the following experience is a plus: Java, Play!, databases, db2, mobile apps, and building social networking applications!
