The International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) Massage Therapy Center, located in Pacific Beach, is hiring for the following position.

Position/Title: Massage Professional, LMP, LMT or HHP
Schedule: Part Time, set schedule available with great opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Must be able to work evening and/or weekend hours (other shifts also available).
Job detail: Perform consecutive 30 to 120 minute quality massage therapy sessions (majority of massage sessions are 60 minutes). Design specific sessions based on clients’ individual needs. Promote the health and wellness benefits to clients’ receiving massage therapy on a regular basis. Create excellent experience for guests through friendly and helpful attitude. Provide excellent customer service. Generate new clientele through promoting referral and retention programs. Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas. Help prepare customer retention items. Must be able to keep professional and accurate SOAP notes and provide clients with information on maintaining health.

Financial detail: Earn $27 to $30+ per hour ($16 to $18.75 per 60 min massage plus gratuity).

Additional requirements including minimum experience, supplies and equipment the therapist must provide and anything not covered elsewhere on this form: Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations. Must carry personal liability insurance. Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required. Knowledge of other modalities, including pregnancy massage, table thai, and lymphatic drainage, preferred. Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management and sales staff. Able to work flexible days and hours. Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork. Must be willing to be a team member and to have a flexible schedule when necessary.
