MEAL DELIVERY DRIVER
(This is a 30-hour per week position.)

SALARY: Between $1,253 and $1,523 per month.

NOTE: This is a 30-hour per week position. The hours of the position are currently 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

THE POSITION: This position drives a City vehicle to deliver weekday lunch meals from the Senior Center to the homes of participants of the Meal Home Delivery Program. Incumbents perform necessary maintenance tasks including daily vehicle maintenance checks and completing related records; assist with the loading of meals; and perform related duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training and experience which demonstrates an ability to perform the duties of the position. A typical qualifying background would include experience in the operation of a vehicle, record keeping and public contact work.

LICENSE: Possession of valid Class “C” California Driver’s License and maintained as a condition of employment.
