Our client is a leader of contemporary lifestyle brands specializing in men’s footwear. As a member of their Operations team specializing in fulfillment and logistics, you will create and closely monitor order status checkpoints to ensure on-time shipping and fulfillment. Confirmation of packing lists after document cross- reference checks and compliance analysis is one example of a critical checkpoint in your jurisdiction. Consistent reporting and independent analysis of flagged orders will be part of your performance criteria. You will analyze and book inbound vessels from Asia and Europe, and work closely with the customs broker and provide proper documentation to ensure timely importation and delivery to the warehouse. You will also act as primary liaison for several clients along with carefully monitoring all US order fulfillment, providing WIP reports to management and reporting fulfillment shortages.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (5+ years of experience if you do not have a degree)
- 2-4 years responsible experience in an operations role with overseas manufacturing; experience with lifestyle brand or fashion retailer preferred
- Proficient with Excel: mid-level formatting, data table organization and functions (V lookup, sum if, offset, etc).
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Adept at identifying discrepancies in spreadsheets and various data
- Must be able to provide examples of ambitiousness and achieved excellence in an academic or business setting
- Experience with ERP systems and propensity for the documentation of improved systems and procedures a plus
