An East County law firm is in need of a Paralegal. A successful candidate will have 1-3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm. This position will be required to file complaints with the court (both superior and small claims); follow up on service of process; prepare and file default prove-up packages; process requests for entry of default; correspondence with clients; and follow-up on payment plans. Position will also be responsible for preparing, filing and recording abstracts of judgement and sheriff instructions for wage garnishments and bank levies. Candidates must be proficient in Word Perfect. This is a temp to perm position.
