Park Attendant I
(Part-Time, Temporary Position)

The City of Escondido Lakes/ Open Space Division is currently accepting applications for a Park Attendant I to work at Lake Wohlford.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working on the boat dock helping customers in and out of boats
• Cleaning and making minor repairs to boats
• Assisting staff with park maintenance
• Collecting fees and keeping routine records

Minimum requirements:
• 16 years of age or older
• Have own transportation
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Demonstrate ability to:
• Be responsible and reliable
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Follow city and department policies and procedures
• Maintain open communication with supervisors

NOTE: The City of Escondido is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace. A medical examination, along with a DRUG SCREEN, will be conducted following a conditional offer of employment.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $9.28 per hour

Work Schedule: Variable hours, 18-24 hours per week. Must be available weekends and holidays.
