OneRoof Energy is a San Diego, CA based company that develops, owns and operates distributed solar energy generation systems for the residential market. Through its Solar Select Program, OneRoof Energy utilizes aesthetically pleasing Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems to provide predictable, affordable and environmentally conscious power via rooftops.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful completion of solar roof installations in collaboration with third party contractors, vendors and homeowners. Assist team with strategic initiatives crossing multiple departments to ensure processes and best practices are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

1. Develop and implement systems, processes and procedures for the third party contractors, trainers and sales team.
2. Working in conjunction with third party contractors, ensure construction schedules, budgets and cost overruns are within specified targets.
3. Collaborates with third party contractors to ensure customer service levels are achieved at the highest level.
4. Responsible for ensuring the system installation has been properly documented in the company’s Customer Relationship Management system.
5. Reviews and approves required change orders from third party contractors.
6. Recommend optimal products and technologies.
7. Coordinate with third party contractors the appropriate level of supplies required to meet project demand
8. Assist in the identification of new third party contractors.
9. Responsible for managing territory budgets, including cost of goods, overruns, and labor.
10. Responsible for keeping up to date with the Authority Having Jurisdiction’s code requirements related to construction and safety of solar installations within their territory.
11. Responsible for performance, operational and maintenance requirements of solar products and technologies.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
13. Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature and workshops.

Experience:
Five to seven years experience in a solar project management role. Proven experience in high volume solar/construction projects utilizing current construction/project management software. Sales Force experience preferred. Experience with process documentation and developing procedures required. Start-up company experience very helpful.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in project management.

Certifications:
Project Manager Professional
Must have a valid driver’s license

Must be able to travel a minimum of 50% of the time. Domestic travel including Hawaii.
