QA Tester I – Compatibility Lab Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Installer testing for all supported titles
• Hardware passes on all supported titles (Video, Sound, Networking)
• Active pursuance of knowledge of hardware (keep up to date on current and future technology, as well as previous)
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions
• Following provided test plans (but the ability to think outside the box)
• Inputting bugs into database in the proper formatting with the proper information and the proper flagging
• Communication with development as needed to clarify any issues
• Swapping out hardware as needed to test various configurations
• Operating System navigation (including foreign language OS’) savvy
• Cross training across all supported company games, as well as 3rd party publishing titles
• Ability to work 9:30 — 6:30 Monday through Friday, with possible overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• Comprehend and execute assigned Test Plans and Projects
• Report verified bugs to the Assistant Lead/Supervisor and bug database
• General game play testing
• Assure patches/updates, new builds and shipped products are functional and operate as intended
• Review and Document bug reports
• Follow SOE Tester procedures outlined by QA Training team
• Create Daily Reports on testing progress and status for the Assistant Lead/Supervisor
• Become proficient at the games assigned (multiple projects)

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
High School Graduate or equivalent
