    We are currently looking for an energetic and talented Quality Assurance
    Manager

    Description:

    As Quality Manager you will be responsible for revising, and ensuring the effectiveness of quality, food safety, sanitation, pest control, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

    • Responsible for the facility compliance with standards and Regulated Agencies.
    • Lead the Food Safety committee.
    • Keep the Prerequisite Program, HACCP Program and Quality System up to date.
    • Submit samples for Analysis as required by the Quality Manual.
    • Conduct audits, issue production reports.
    • Managed the Customer and Supplier Complain Program. Conduct incident root cause analysis investigation and report.
    • Review production output and analyze results.
    • Issue corrective action where necessary.
    • Conduct and follow up audits.
    • Enforce proper food safety and sanitation procedures (SSOP’s).
    • Conduct GMP’s training.
    • Manage the Pest Control Program
    • Supervise the Sanitation team.
    • Lead the Process Improvement Program
    • Oversee the development, implementation, review, and maintenance and sustainability of the SQF System
    • Ensure the integrity of execution, maintenance and sustainability of the SQF 2000 (or equivalent Food Safety /Food Quality Strategy).
    • Communicate to relevant Plant and Corporate personnel information (trends, data, needs, noncompliance, internal and external audits, surveys, etc.) to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the SQF 2000 System (or equivalent Food Safety/Food Quality Strategy).

    Requirements:

    - A Bachelors degree or Equivalent experience.

    - Ability to obtain the SQF Practitioner in order to guide the Company through the SQF 2000 Level II Certification.

    - 1 to 3 years work experience in food manufacturing.

    - Working knowledge of GMP’s, Processing and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) required.

    - Bi-lingual English/Spanish (required)

    - Demonstrated competency in computer-based tools (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and communication tools (Outlook, the Internet).

    - Ability to perform tasks, communicates, and makes reasoned decisions under pressure and within tight time constraints.
