Reorder Assistant (Carlsbad)

  • Advanced Diabetes Supply, a division of North Coast Medical, provides diabetic testing supplies to people with diabetes. Our highly trained staff and state of the art technology ensures fast and convenient home delivery anywhere in the country. We are looking for a Reorder Assistant to work with our customer service team. A successful candidate will be energetic, reliable and positive, with excellent phone and computer skills.
     

     
    Responsibilities:
     

     
    • Provides administrative support to a designated team of Customer Service Representatives.
     
    • Serves ADS patients over the phone with reordering diabetic supplies. High call volume per day (approx. 60 outbound and 30 inbound per day).
     
    • Provides excellent customer service while verifying customer insurance, doctor and contact information.
     
    • Communicates daily with Doctor and Medical Facilities regarding confidential prescription requests.
     
    • Works closely with insurance and billing departments to verify orders are acceptable to ship.
     
    • Maintains accurate and detailed records in company database.
     
    • Prepares professional correspondence to send by mail.
     
    • Prepares daily accountability reports for management.
     

     
    Qualifications:
     
    • Excellent customer service skills, including phone and inter personal skills.
     
    • Clear diction and knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.
     
    • Work history of excellent attendance and punctuality required.
     
    • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel required; database data entry experience preferred – typing test will be given at interview.
     
    • Solid mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
     
    • High school diploma or GED required
     
    • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a plus.
     
    • 1-2 years work experience in a customer service call center preferred.
     
    • Some experience with medical billing and/or durable medical equipment (DME) a plus.
     
    • Knowledge of diabetes a plus.
