ElliptiGO Inc. (www.elliptigo.com) has developed the world’s first low-impact outdoor running device. The company launched its first product, the ElliptiGO 8S, in February of 2010 and it has already been featured in The Wall St. Journal, Good Morning America, Men’s Journal, Shape, Self, and dozens of other premier media outlets. Athletes who are currently using the product include world famous ultramarathoner and endurance athlete Dean Karnazes, Olympians Adam Goucher and Mike Gostigian, running coach and endurance athlete Jenny Hadfield, elite runner Lauren Fleshman, and many others.

Job Overview
As a result of a unique sales opportunity with Road Runner Sports in San Diego, we are looking for a seasonal/temporary Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This person must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently.

Job Functions

• Represent ElliptiGO at Road Runner Sports in San Diego on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (4-5 hours each shift)
• Set up a display of bikes and a stationary trainer each shift
• Engage Road Runner’s customers to raise awareness and generate sales
• Give test rides to interested customers
• Answer any general or technical questions about the ElliptiGO
• Facilitate any sales with the Road Runner staff

Job Requirements
• 1-2 years retail sales experience
• Motivated, self-managed, and reliable
• Positive demeanor; professional; mature
• Avid runner, cyclist, or fitness enthusiast
• Competitive running experience is a plus
• Knowledge of bicycle mechanics is a plus
• Must be available to work most Saturday and Sunday afternoons between now and the end of the summer

• Location: San Diego
• Compensation: $10 – $12/ hour + 10% commission ($160-$350 per ElliptiGO depending on model)
